Center Stage Academy of Performing Arts

Explore the art of theatre through the eyes of a director. Work with CSA actors in directing a short scene. Learn the basics of play analysis, communicating with actors and designers, building trust with your cast, and most importantly learn how to come up with a directorial vision. The first couple of classes will be focused on learning the technique while the later part of the course will focus on applying those techniques to a short scene. This scene will be performed in a final family/friends performance.
